Is there any news about parallelization in OpenDX?  I am most interested in distributed memory, e.g. beowulf-style clusters.
 
FWIW, I actually saw a Parallel Visualization Server running DX some time ago.

This work was being done by Greg Abram at IBM, but I believe they have all ceased work on the product. You may try and send him e-mail and see if he responds.
