What is going on with this forum???

In the past couple of days there have been a rash of spam posts.
Can this be blocked? Is anyone moderating these lists??

I am removing the posts as I check them in the evening. They are spam bots attacking us. I have blocked up to 30 domains, but it seems like they just keep registering through new domains everyday. I've also blocked certain words--but they find ways around it. Hopefully they'll leave us alone after a while. That's what happened the last time this happened (about 9 months ago).
